When your child goes to the doctor or gets a prescription filled at the pharmacy there may be a small fee called a co-pay for some services. Basic CHIP (Groups A/B) do not pay for check-ups, dental care, vision care or generic prescriptions.  Premium Plan participants receive the same prescription and medical services as group A/B, but have limited dental services and no vision coverage.
